CTC Trail Cycle Leader (TCL) courses
If you want to lead groups on a mountain bike, you need a Mountain Bike Leadership Qualification.
If you decide to do a training course, CTC provide a two and half day instructors course. This covers all you need to know about taking groups out mountain biking. From equipment, to routes and navigation to group management.
To keep the qualification valid, a two day outdoor specific First Aid course has to be renewed every three years.

ITC Outdoor First Aid Training courses
Here at Shropshire Hills Mountain Bike & Outdoor Pursuit Centre, we run a two day First Aid course and also the two and half day CTC Trail Cycle Leader Training Course as a package. This allows those who qualify after the assessment to lead groups anywhere in the UK, subject to certain conditions.
The two day training course is run from the centre which gives you access to great bridleways, trails and carefully chosen teaching areas.

Scott bikes are renowned for their build quality and reliability so whatever trail you decide to ride, these bikes will do the job perfectly.
