For the two day MTB beginner courses, forest tracks and easy graded singletracks are areas we use for training purposes.
Surrounded by stunning scenery and less technically challenging routes, (although this doesn’t mean it will be any less fun) your qualified coach will find areas to demonstrate and teach specific skills. Due to our partnership with the National Trust, we have access to paths that were previously closed, for training use. These means we can offer unique coaching venues.
The skills covered are:
Check your bike before riding, correct use of gears, riding position, cornering, drop off’s, single track riding, front wheel lifts, climbing and descending
We aim to build your confidence on the bike and helping you to develop your skills.
Ideally, you should have a bike in good working order, although our hire bikes will be available should this not be possible.
After a day on the bike, its back to the centre where you can relax, have tea and cakes in the cafe and take a look round the shop. Then you can get cleaned up in the free showers and sample the delights The Station Inn has to offer.
Course cost: £140 per person
