ITC Outdoor First Aid Training and Incident Management recognised by National Governing Bodies
On a recent Highland Emergency Documentary, a Mountain Biker was rescued from a wooded area near Dumfries. The Rescue Medic treated the cyclist for a broken shoulder, punctured lung and broken ribs.
Would you have known what to do before the Emergency Services arrived to keep your friend safe?
Robin Camps is our regular First Aid trainer, he is also a qualified Mountain Biker, Bikeability Instructor and Summer Mountain Leader. He has practiced and now trains others in the first aid skills needed to deal with casualties safely, systematically and sympathetically. This course is hands-on, dynamic and fun. Part of the course will take place outside where you will have an opportunity to practice the skills on simulated incidents. As a regular Mountain biker, Outdoor Instructor and Walking Guide Robin can mould the course content to make it relevant to Mountain Bikers and Outdoor Instructors alike.
