Chain Reaction MTB Team Skills day at MTB Shropshire and Blazing Bikes

Clear your diary for Saturday 19th November as the guys from Chain Reaction are heading down to give you the chance to experience and learn some top skills and tricks that only they can know to pass to you!

Following our hugely successful Team Nukeproof training day at the Tollymore National Outdoor Centre, we’re holding another event in Marshbrook, Shropshire on 19th November 2011.

They have on offer 30 places – free of charge – so you can learn from the best in the business! Matt Simmonds, Joe Smith, Lewis Buchanan and Nigel Page will be on hand to help you with all the basics including bike setup, braking, cornering, body position, trackstands and loads more. It’s worth noting that all riders are welcome but the terrain is more suited to short travel full-sussers or hardtails.

You will also get the chance to run wild around The Shropshire Hills Mountain Bike and Outdoor Pursuit Centre, including the pub, café, camp site and our free showers and toilets.

Beat the Pro!

And as part of the skills day they are putting on a ‘Beat the Pro’ time trial – where you can go head-to-head against the Team riders on a pre-marked track. Prizes are on offer for the fastest amateur on the day!

Nigel and the team are raring to go after the success in Northern Ireland: “Tollymore was a great day for all of us, and we’re looking forward to seeing more riders in Marshbrook.

Please feel free to ask any questions about certain skills you’d like help with or advice on how to get into racing, training, riding faster and smoother etc. I’m sure the guys will be able to help you out. See you soon!”

Simply email them at with your name, contact details and tell us what type of riding you do and what you hope to learn from the guys.

We look forward to seeing you for a fun and action packed day, it is going to be a lot of fun!!
